It’s the second day of NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month), but this was from yesterday. This also corresponds with Escapril’s day two prompt – hooray! Although it’s officially spring, it doesn’t feel like it here in Canada.
April First –
April showers bring
May flowers, right? Well, it does
Not feel like spring yet.
The sky is grey, and
Water drips from bare branches
Onto melting snow
The first April Fools
Joke is calling April first
A lovely spring day.
