Thank You For Keeping Me

This was written the morning after I cried myself to sleep and begged God to kill me. I didn’t think I could bear the struggle any more. I was right. I couldn’t, but He could. Psalm 30:5 was – and still is – my anthem.

Poem 37 of 365 –

Thank you for keeping me
Though I wanted to be thrown away.
Thank you for reaching me.
I’m in a better place than yesterday.
